The Society Board and Committees are also volunteer roles.

Q - Are Volunteers paid?

A - No, but if a volunteer qualifies for a food hamper they will receive one every week they work.

Q -What are the hours of work?

A - The majority of volunteers are needed during food distribution times (Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 1:00 pm). Event and Board / Committee volunteers are needed from time to time in the evenings and on weekends.

Q - How do I become a Volunteer?

A - Easy! Just complete an application form then attend an Orientation session.  There will be a short interview to explain the Food Bank and how we work, what you expect from us and our expectations of you. We will discuss available jobs and your interests and skills.

If you would like to learn more about the Surrey Food Bank, plan to attend a
