Getting Food to Those
With Mobility Issues

Hamper To Your Home was designed to support homebound clients with mobility challenges. These may include individuals with high-risk pregnancies, parents in the postpartum period, those recovering from a C-section (up to a maximum of four weeks), people living with terminal or debilitating conditions, and individuals recovering from surgery or an accident.

Qualification

To qualify for food assistance through Hamper to Your Home, you must be registered with the Surrey Food Bank. You must also have your mobility status and need for delivery validated by a medical doctor. You will be required to provide a note or letter from your doctor explaining your mobility issues. Please see our client eligibility sheet for more information.

Please Note: Lack of transportation &/or lack of funds for transportation, or minimal disability or illness are NOT qualifications for delivery.
